We had been considering having our drive enlarged and block paved for some time but were not sure who to use. Then a good friend recommended Danny who had just completed his own drive and it looked fantastic. He came over to see me and discuss what we wanted and gave us a quote. We agreed and he arrived on time with his team and very quickly had the old tarmac drive up and away in a grabloader,had dug out the new enlarged area and laid his foundation of dry concrete mix.

When it came to laying the blocks he was very precise in ensuring they looked very straight and that any cutting in around the edges of the drive were precise. He was very fussy about things being right and asked for my opinion and approval throughout. His team were very tidy at the end of each working day. The final result was a new drive that looks great and attracts many admiring comments from passers by. We recommend Danny if you want an excellent job done.

Danny has worked for us twice. Some years ago he reconstructed our drive with block paving. The drive has looked good from the start, and has stood the test of time. The drive slopes down to the garage and Danny skilfully ensured that rainwater drains away from the garage.

More recently, Danny built a raised patio with steps down to the garden. The work is of high quality and we are really pleased with the result. Danny consulted with us regularly to check requirements and to discuss problems that arose. Although we had had plans drawn up, Danny was concerned about one aspect of the plans - damp proofing adjacent to the house. Rather than blindly following the plans, Danny recommended that we consult an architect, and this resulted in a much better damp-proofing solution. The cost of the patio was competitive, and, in spite of atrocious weather, the work was completed to schedule. On one particular occasion the guys worked like heroes in torrential rain.
